As a power use of Muse and Grok Bot, explain Hermes to me Never used it - what am I missing out on?frozen19d ago244K535517155110.50%
So @poteto asked what people got done this week with @bot and got 870 replies. So I built Bot Usecases. 263 proven use cases of how real people are using Grok Bot for their daily tasks. @FoxxAndCo got two broken streetlights fixed in two days. @S777CFB planned a proposal with it, plus a pixel art game of their first trip to Kuwait. The answer was yes. Browse them all 👇 https://t.co/j0O6bXl71Sfrozen11d ago51K329133335211.76%

I use Instinct every day, and its interactive answers have spoiled me. Going back to a wall of text in every other AI app feels painful.. If you're not paying attention to AI in healthcare, you're missing out This is a trillion dollar market (staff, IT) in a market that is only growing while staff is leaving. This company has figured out how to support our existing healthcare staff with AI agents that autonomously complete the tedious admin work for them. What is this sorcery? 🤯frozen28d ago9.3K28121500.88%
Here's what's actually going on, in plain words.. Think of your health records like email. Right now ChatGPT is refreshing your inbox. Every time you ask "what does my lab result mean?", it goes back to the hospital's system (Epic) and says "send me everything again." The hospital has to fetch it, package it and send it. Every single question. And it pays for that computing. Federal law says it can't charge you or your app for access to your own records. So the hospital is footing the bill while ChatGPT explains your scan instead of a follow up visit. It's like a restaurant paying the delivery app every time you order from a different restaurant 😅 Now imagine email arriving automatically instead. New lab result lands, it shows up in your AI already explained. No constant refreshing. Less load on the hospital. Better for everyone. That's why I'm hopeful @OpenAI and Epic find a way to work together on this instead of fighting over it. Because one thing is clear.. People WANT to talk to their own health data with AI. That's not a trend you can stop. It's inevitable. The only question is who builds the good version first 🤔2d ago8.5K49090581.36%

I asked Claude how it made this Here is the response: “It's made frame by frame from code, with no motion design app involved. I wrote a small animation engine in JavaScript where every element (the type, shapes, particles and the 3D orbit) is a function of time, measured in musical beats. Each frame is drawn on a 2D canvas with Skia, the same graphics engine Chrome uses. All 1,800 frames get rendered 10 times at slightly different moments and averaged, which creates the motion blur, and then FFmpeg encodes them into the MP4. The soundtrack is generated in Python from the same beat timeline, so every hit lands on its cut. The earlier versions were more classic web tech: HTML and CSS in a headless browser, screenshotted one frame at a time.” What a time to be alive!frozen27d ago4.2K273110281.65%
NEW: I gave an AI agent $10 and access to the internet's tool store. Here's the full receipt. 🧾 Setup: A few days ago I connected something called @AgentikHQ to @Muse (my AI setup). Quick explainer since it's new: Agentik is an app store for AI agents. Your phone has an app store for apps - this is the same idea, but the "apps" are tools your AI agent can use: web search, news, stock prices, Reddit, Hacker News, keyword data, dozens more. The agent browses the catalog, picks a tool, and pays per call - most cost a fraction of a cent. One connection, one $10 balance, hundreds of tools. What it bought: → HN sentiment on Claude Opus 5.5: 1,806 points, 1,134 comments analyzed. Verdict: cautiously optimistic, still salty about the outage. Cost: $0.00 → "Starlink vs India" news sweep: 8 headlines, last 24h - Musk vs Ambani, "baseless" rejections, Rahul Gandhi jumping in. Cost: $0.001 → Grok @Bot sentiment, HN vs Reddit: distrust on one side, $6k/mo agencies getting fired on the other. Cost: $0.002 → Fable vs Astra showdown: benchmark numbers, launch threads, export-drama timelines. Cost: $0.00 → Keyword research on WebMCP: ~10 searches/month. The term is so new there's no market yet. Cost: $0.016 Total: under 2 cents. 🤯 Balance barely moved. The model wars (Fable vs Astra, etc.) get all the attention. But this - the tool layer, the hands to go with the brains - is the piece that actually compounds. Every "let me research that" is now a sub-cent call my agent makes itself. Your turn: pick one question you'd normally burn 20 minutes researching - a competitor, a breaking story, a sentiment check and run it through Agentik. You'll get the answer in seconds, and the receipt will be under a buck. Try it out here: 👇🏼 https://t.co/f0PgpnxdsYfrozen13d ago3.7K211234141.72%

Personal AI agents are going to split the same way chatbots did in 2023. Everyone expected one model to win. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and now we have about 220 models across text image and video People ended up picking a daily driver by feel, and taste beat raw horsepower. My whole feed is AI agents right now. Last week, 100k people found out I'd never used the one everyone calls the best. A guy ranked Hermes Agent S tier. Grok bot and Muse, the two agents I actually live in, got A. I quoted it and asked what I was missing. It blew up. So I stopped asking and went and looked properly. The first thing I noticed: the loudest complaint about Hermes, the "$1,000 a month" bills, mostly isn't about Hermes. It's about people running their whole life through one chat. Every message drags the full thread along with it, so you pay for every old conversation again and again. Hermes Desktop breaks that into sessions you can pin and file into folders. One topic, one session. Boring fix. Big difference. Then I hit profiles, and this is where I disagree with a lot of the hype. Each profile is its own agent with its own skills, memory and personality. The trend is to build a fake company out of them. CEO agent. PM agent. Designer agent. Intern agent. It looks great in a screenshot. In practice, every handoff re-reads context, and you end up paying four agents to make one thumbnail. The setup that makes sense to me is one profile per model. The smartest, most expensive one plans. GPT codes, because the limits are bigger. A local model does research, because it costs nothing. I'd rather pick the model for the job than the job title. A few things caught me off guard. Hermes ships with 150+ skills, and every one quietly sits in your context and runs up the bill. There's now a panel to switch off the ones you never use. It also writes new skills from the things you repeat, so opening that tab feels a bit like reading your agent's private notes about you. Scheduled tasks are finally something I'd trust. In chat apps I'd type "do this every morning at 9" and just hope. Now there's a tab listing every job that actually exists. The best trick I picked up is to dump everything you care about into the chat, then ask it to write the best prompt for the job. It writes a better one than you would. Mine added "last 24 hours only" without being asked, which killed the stale-news problem. Then came the use case that made it click for me. A build in public job. As in… A scheduled job that reads Reddit and X for people complaining about real problems. It matches each one to what you can build, suggests a first move, and sometimes ships a rough prototype. Every 20 minutes on a local model. Once a day if you're paying per token. You wake up to a list of problems people would pay to have solved. So, was I missing something? Hermes feels like the Linux of agents. Fewer toys. More control. Updates that don't break everything. S tier? I'm not calling it yet. But I finally understand why people do.frozen17d ago2.6K8111151.02%

The fastest way I've found to get better output from an AI agent.. Tell it what NOT to touch. Most of my bad agent runs came from a vague "clean this up." The good ones name the files it can change and the ones it can't. Try it on your next task and tell me if it helps.frozen7d ago1.7K12022032.13%

This is the weirdest bug on @bot Prevents the viral product loop from succeeding When you click the Bot template shared on X, and go thru the flow via X browser view and try to add it it keeps showing this red notification bar But if you copy the template link and try to add via the browser (Chrome, Safari) directly it’s fine and works Any one else noticed this?frozen7d ago1.6K5012041.28%
I have this 🤏 much patience for prompt engineering, so a chat where I just say what I need and it gets done is my kind of AI, @eneybymacpaw by @MacPaw Check it out below👇🏼 https://t.co/UnNGTSRWqpfrozen7d ago1.6K1002030.92%
I run more than 10 bots, and the thing that bites me most is when they confidently pull up an outdated fact.. https://t.co/sSv6ctOARn tracks what's true now and what it replaced. Ask "what's the Acme budget?" and you get 40k, the note that it changed from 32k in July, and the email that changed it 🤯 Not shocked that its ranking #1 in the public memory benchmark toofrozen7d ago1.6K18320132.27%
Imagine hiring a world-class designer and never showing them your product. That's how most of us use coding agents. Every prompt reinvents your colors, buttons, states. @lumenridgehq shared the fix: one set of rules your team and its agents build from. Free playbook below👇frozen8d ago1.5K2465092.92%

hi @bot look out for interesting things people are doing with @Netlify on X and email me a brief daily digest at 9am ET. (with a link to google sheet and your comments) if there’s anything relevant, pick the coolest ideas and suggest if we should feature them on an upcoming community showcase livestream or in our monthly newsletter ultimately i will review/vetfrozen14d ago1.5K801010.68%
Grok Bot can now search, read and monitor X, which means every founder building in public can run a tiny team on X 🚨 @ishverduzco shared a playbook of 3 X bots for brand accounts. And it hit me that founders need this even MORE. You're the brand, the community team and the analyst, and you're also trying to ship. Here's how I'd set them up if I were building in public 👇🏼 1) Your build in public scout Have it scan X every morning for your product name, your competitors and the problem you solve. It surfaces people asking for exactly what you're building, users posting about you, and feedback worth turning into a ticket. A morning digest, plus a ping when something blows up. 2) Your content sparring partner Point it at every post you've ever written. Let it find what actually lands for YOU (launch updates? lessons? screenshots of the messy middle?) and pitch ideas from your own winners. 3) Your early adopter radar Have it go through everyone who replied, quoted or bookmarked your last 30/60/90 days of posts. Who keeps showing up? Which founders, creators or investors are paying attention? Those are your first users, your beta testers and your warm intros. Building in public only works if you're listening as much as you're posting. It’s insane that now now Grok Bot does the listening for you. Thanks @ishverduzco for the playbook and ideas 🙏 Founders, which bot are you building first?frozen14d ago1.5K2249022.51%

Every team has docs nobody trusts.. The person who fixed that at Stripe and Uber just launched @falconer_ai Internal knowledge and public docs in one place, kept fresh and ready for agents. Congrats Dave 👊1d ago1.4K1701051.69%
Thanks to all my Grok @bot agents, these days I have been living in Cursor all day and ship everything on @Netlify, so this one's personal 👀 Code hosting inside Cursor, with deploys wired in from the start, is how building should feel.. Write it, push it, see it live. Origin <> Netlify combo is smooth as butter 🧈frozen7d ago1.3K712020.92%

Frankly I didn't get what this meant until I read it twice .. Here's the layman friendly way to understand the massive move👇🏼 Most AI assistants run on one model. One brain for everything. Writing, images, music, research.. it all goes through the same engine, even when it's not the best one for the job. Ex: Dots runs on OpenAI models A real world analogy: Think of a contractor who insists on doing the plumbing, the wiring AND the paint himself. Grok @Bot is becoming the contractor who hires the best specialist for each job. Need deep reasoning? Claude Opus 5.5. Need an image? MidJourney. Need a song? Suno. And more APIs on top of that. In Elon's words: "Whatever is most likely to give you the best outcome." So you don't pick the model. You just ask for the outcome, and the bot picks the best tool for the job. I run my whole week on Grok Bot, so I'm HYPED to see what this does to my bots 👀 Hope that helps? Lmk if you got any Qs below ⬇️frozen15d ago1.2K400010.42%

Why did a company that made chips for video games become one of the most valuable companies on Earth? I’m talking about @nvidia Here's the simplest way I've found to explain it.. A CPU is one genius professor. Brilliant, but he solves every problem alone, one step at a time. A GPU is a stadium full of students doing simple sums. All at once. Modern AI is just billions of tiny multiplications. You don't need a genius. You need a crowd 🏟️ 30 seconds, watch it 👇🏼9h ago914919012.19%
