I have such a good idea for @xmoney, but I don’t know if it’s too niche. What about having like a budget feature (powered by grok?) on your account so when you travel internationally (Tokyo) you won’t get carried away when tap-to-pay-maxxing. You could get notified when you’re reaching your budget. Perhaps there could be a seperate reserve where you could convert currencies ( USD to JPY) and store them separately away from your main balance (as seen on some other apps), that way you know exactly how much of that currency you’re “able to spend” with out touching your “main balance”. This is a very important plate of pasta. Since January, i was stuck in this bubble where anything that wasn’t work was a wrong use of my time. Sitting in restaurants or cafes felt suffocating for me - I physically could not do it, I was too in my head about productivity. I built habits to make every move as convenient for me as possible, never breaking out of my comfort zone. I did the same routine daily for months, same foods - every meal delivered to my doorstep, same workouts, same sleep schedule, virtually no changes whatsoever. The post below from April was me finally having enough and realizing my suffocating lifestyle was likely driven by that lingering claustrophobia + anxiety/panic. The exposure therapy worked. I took frequent flights as often as possible, I said yes to trying more things, I put myself in uncomfortable situations on purpose, I made big lifestyle changes, tried using technology less (impossible), and lastly - tried sitting in restaurants and actually enjoying the experience, tried my best to live in the moment after not doing so for months. Today, I sit in a small pasta shop in the center of Tokyo, I am excited to be here, I feel relaxed, I am grateful that I can sit here with out timing my exit, and I’ll enjoy the walk home.
