wait... I gave Vidu Q4 Preview 4 images and one prompt for a 16s samurai duel 2 samurai, 1 snowy courtyard, 1 opening frame. 15 shots: drone descent, extreme close-ups, an overhead circle, a slow motion leap, a slow orbit. Then I ran the same prompt and first frame on Dreamina Seedance 2.5 and put the two side by side. → Up to 15 reference images, I used 4 → Up to 3 reference audio tracks → 2K and 4K output, up to 16 seconds → From $0.014/second, about $0.22 for a 16s clip Flagship specs. IT'S 2026, CHATGPT IMAGES ARE OUTDATED!! If you are into e-commerce, you need to see this. Lovart 2.0's Arti AI can turn ONE product photo into an entire e-commerce campaign. I just uploaded a simple photo of a cosmetic product. And it turned that one photo into a full set of Shopify banners. No photo shoot. No studio. No Photoshop. And that's not even the best part. @lovart_ai Lovart 2.0's Arti, doesn't just create pretty images. It doesn't just generate pretty images. It can find design ideas, remember your brand's style, and make sure everything looks like it belongs together. So instead of getting ONE random AI image, you get an entire campaign that actually looks like your brand. All from just one product photo. This part of Charming is wild. You build an app with Claude. Your friend uses ChatGPT. They can still open your app and change it, as long as you gave them access. Same app. Same live data. China just shipped a chip no one has built before. Huawei calls it the Kirin 9050 Pro. It is the world's first chip with LogicFolding design, and it is inside the Mate 90 Series. Here is why that matters. A chip is like a tiny city. Signals travel between its parts all day. The longer the road, the slower everything gets. LogicFolding shortens those roads by folding the design, so signals reach their destination faster. The numbers are big: → 5 million signal links inside the chip → 125 TB/s of data flowing between its parts → 31% faster overall on the Pro Max Premium → 27% faster on the standard Mate 90 → 20% faster on the Mate 90 Pro All compared to the Mate 80 series. Now look at the bigger picture. Not long ago, many people doubted China could build top phone chips. Today, Huawei puts a new flagship chip in every phone of a series. Not one model. The whole lineup. That did not happen by luck. Chipmaking is one of the hardest things humans do. Every gain takes years of testing, failing, and fixing. Between 2007 and 2025, Huawei spent 1.8 trillion CNY on research and development. That is almost two decades of steady work, and the Kirin chips are one of the results. It also helps that Huawei builds the chip, the software, and the cloud together. The Kirin 9050 Pro works with HarmonyOS 7 to keep apps smooth. It even handles game lighting, with up to 55 million rays drawn every second. China's chip industry is no longer catching up quietly. It is shipping new ideas, like LogicFolding, that no chip has used before. A flagship chip for everyone. That is the headline.frozen18d ago33K1831880310.73%

The most expensive AI decision might be the one you can't undo. A company spends months building with one provider. Then a better model comes along, but switching means rebuilding half the system. That's a terrible position to be in. DigitalOcean is putting this issue at the center of its Open Intelligence Summit with NVIDIA. The goal is simple: give companies more freedom to choose their AI models, keep their data, and change tools without starting from zero. Live today at 1 PM PT.frozen10d ago31K156315060.64%

Data work isn't hard. It's just exhausting. It always breaks at the worst possible hour. I spend a lot of time with teams that build and keep data pipelines running. So I wrote down the six jobs I'd hand an AI employee before building another pipeline, and gave them to one. The 3am one is obvious. He reads the logs, finds the row, and has the fix on a branch with a test by the time I am up. Nothing merged. The one I did not predict is the upstream schema change nobody announced. A field changed type on Tuesday and he caught it against yesterday's contract, then listed every downstream table it touches. No migration, no merge, no deletion without me. He opens the pull request, I approve it, the trail shows who did what. Six jobs in the image. Data people: which of those six is currently a person on your team? I asked ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode the same 10 "what's the best _" questions. All 50 answers came through one Claude chat connected to Agentik. Total cost: 12 cents. The results were messier than I expected. Password managers: 3 of the 5 recommended LastPass. Google AI Mode got the same question and told people to avoid LastPass because of its breach history. Across all 10 questions, all five agreed on the #1 pick only twice. ChatGPT for chatbots, HubSpot for CRM. Ask for the best AI video generator and you get four different #1s: Synthesia, Runway, Google Veo and Seedance 2.5. The models without web search are stuck in the past. They still recommend Google Bard, Bing Chat, Amazon CodeWhisperer and Sendinblue. All four were renamed in 2023–24. Your data isn't broken. Your team just never agreed on what one word means. Product, Marketing and Finance each gave me a different number for "active users." All three were right, and here's why. Every data team has had this meeting. The usual fix is someone spends a week in the SQL, writes a definitions doc, and by next quarter nobody reads it. So I handed it to an AI employee with one line: find out why before anyone argues about it. He read the SQL behind all 27 dashboards and came back before my coffee was cold. 4 definitions of an active user: → 16 dashboards count one core action in the last 30 days. → 7 count anyone who logged in at all. → 3 count a paid seat that logged in. → 1 counts any event at all, API calls included, and has had no owner since March. He recommended the first one, listed the 11 dashboards that change if we pick it, and drafted the SQL for each. He edited nothing. Which definition the company uses is a decision, and decisions stay with people. Data people: how many definitions of "active user" are live in your company right now? Be honest. Vivix W1 costs $0.003 per second of video. That's it. An 8-second clip costs about 2.4 cents. 100 of them cost $2.40. And it doesn't cut corners. @VivixLabs_HQ reports that W1 made an 8-second video in about 8 seconds, and the visual quality sits right next to the leading models in their side-by-side comparisons. Cheap, fast, and good looking, all in one model. W1 is a real-time interactive video model, so you’re paying for generation the whole time someone interacts with it. At this price, I can picture leaving an interactive demo open for people to drop into whenever they want, without feeling like I need to hurry them through it. The API already supports real-time generation. In the browser playground, you get a finished clip. Let people take their time. Viktor pulled 3 weeks of sales, marketing and ops data into one business review in 12 minutes this morning. And he didn't just summarize Slack. He found the problems we actually needed to talk about. I run a small agency team, we juggle sales, marketing and ops across a handful of clients every week. We used to build this review by hand every Monday, pulling screenshots into a deck, and by the time we presented it half the numbers were already stale. We tried fixing it with a template. Same deck, prefilled, so all it really saved was the formatting. Someone still had to go and find every number. I gave Viktor one instruction: prepare our weekly business review. He pulled sales, marketing and ops into one place, wrote up a detailed analysis, and assigned action items straight to the team. The best part is I don't have to build another PPT or dashboard for the meeting. That's roughly $4,000 a month we're not spending on a business analyst to build this deck, same review, same rigor, none of the headcount. Viktor did the analysis inside Slack while keeping humans in control of the decisions. This is what an AI employee looks like when he owns an actual job. Most teams are still using AI to get answers. The bigger shift is letting AI own recurring work across the team. AI should be taking jobs off the team's plate, not adding another tool to manage. Every new hire on a data team should get a 30 / 60 / 90. I just wrote one for mine. Viktor has been our AI employee since June, and two lines on the page are already ticked: → He read the SQL behind all 27 dashboards and found 4 definitions of an active user. → He read out our pricing page test: +11.4% signups over 21 days, all from mobile. Then he re-checked the winner at day 17 and flagged refunds going from 3.1% to 4.6% before Thursday's review. I've been the analyst who ships the winner and moves on. The re-check was the job nobody owned. So the next 90 days are about growth experiments. Days 1 to 30: learn our data. Which metric decides each test, and who owns each dashboard. Days 31 to 60: own the readouts. Every test read out the day the sample is in, every winner re-checked at day 17. Days 61 to 90: run the experiment calendar. What's live, what's next, what's waiting on a decision. The goal by day 90: every test decided at the review it lands in. Not the one after. House rule: he proposes, we approve. He changes nothing in a live test. The readout was never the hard part. Owning what happens after the readout is. Hire @viktor_com for your team. Making a 3D character used to mean switching between several tools. Viggle's JST-2 takes one image and creates a full-body 3D character in seconds, ready to animate without a separate rigging step. Then you can make it dance or backflip using just plain text. https://t.co/PUTr6wJlKhfrozen4d ago15K84334060.83%
The worst part of AI voice tools is fixing one bad word. You redo the recording and suddenly other lines sound different. Fish Audio's Drama 3 lets you change that word, while the rest stays untouched. That's a time saver.frozen10d ago15K57310170.51%

There are hundreds of podcasts about building startups. Almost none about living in Silicon Valley. SOTA Wives is the first one I’ve seen about real life behind tech, hosted by two women who are inside it. Episode 1 drops Monday.frozen12d ago15K6226150110.76%

Everyone on X told people to spend $10K on a Mac Studio just to keep their data private. AgentCloak does it for free. It runs locally in your browser, replaces your real details with fake ones, and sends only the fake version to any AI you use.4d ago15K723620320.97%

AI can ship code all day. But bugs don't care how fast you move. Sazabi watches your app, spots problems from its logs, and tells your team what broke and how to fix it. That's the safety net teams need.frozen10d ago15K94660160.84%

Most A/B tests don't fail. They get read once and forgotten. You ship the winner, everyone celebrates, and nobody checks what the winner did a month later. I've been that analyst. The readout is the fun part. The re-check is the job nobody owns. So I gave an AI employee one test to read out: our pricing page. Did the new page actually win? His answer: yes, +11.4% signups over 21 days, and all of it came from mobile. Then he kept going without being asked. → The onboarding test we launched Monday hit its sample size 2 days early. Readout drafted before anyone looked. → The pricing winner, 17 days live: signups still +9.8%, but refunds up from 3.1% to 4.6%. He flagged it before Thursday's review. He changed nothing, and the call on the page is still ours. Data people: do you re-check a winner after it ships, or move straight on to the next test? Evals are already standard for LLMs. Nobody ships a prompt without testing it. Voice has been the exception. @OnepinAI evaluates each take on naturalness, clarity and pronunciation, then fixes the mispronounced words directly. Here it is running: https://t.co/iEqzkPc6K7frozen22d ago13K51125050.54%

This might be one of the biggest upgrades for working with long documents. SubQ Snap just dropped, and it reads 384K tokens in one go. No chopping. No cutting. No lost pages. AI video usually looks impressive until you make the characters actually fight. One of the Kling 4.0 cases that caught my attention immediately was this wuxia fight scene. Fight scenes are a pretty brutal test for AI video. Fast movement, character interactions, camera movement, there's a lot that can fall apart at once. What stood out to me here was the motion. The action actually feels connected instead of looking like a collection of random movements.frozen24d ago12K6925150101.02%
